The Ilfracombe Running Club Starlight Challenge: Arlington 'Owler took place on Saturday, 14th of March 2026. This was our second night race, following on from the previous year's race at Baggy Point. Again, we were lucky to have perfect conditions for a night trail events - dry course and, most importantly, starry skies.

Ilfracombe Running Club would like to thank everyone who sponsored, helped out or participated in making this race such a success. Heartfelt thanks to you all!

Organising any race requires lots of time, patience and planning - as usual, IRC had the dream team to make sure the event ran smoothly - Jay, Chris, Ian, Becky and Woofy all working hard behind the scenes leaving Race Director Ray the easy job of telling you all fanciful tales of frogs on the course. Also, an honourable mention to the Woolacombe Dunes Parkrun team who again went above and beyond in the promotion of our event. And we cannot fail to mention our fabulous marshals and sweepers who gave up their time to ensure the night went off without a hitch.
