The 37th edition of the famous Doone Run was held on the Sunday 20th of September 2026. Ilfracombe Running Club would like to thank everyone who sponsored, helped out or participated in making our fourth staging of The Doone Run another resounding success and a new name on the famous old trophies (and one name that isn't so new). Heartfelt thanks to you all!

New Race Director Ross Fuller sorted out some nice weather for a change and to compensate threw in a lovely new hill and, ultimately, the Doone Dream Team (TM) put on another amazing event. There are too many people who have helped to list, but needless to say organising any race is not easy and requires lots of time, patience and planning.

The Doone will be back in 2027.... stay tuned!
