The legendary race returns - 34th Edition

Sunday 17th of September 2023 saw the successful return of The Doone Run - many thanks to all of the organisers behind the scenes, timekeepers, comperes, sweepers, course checkers, set-up, clear down and the marshalls - without which the race could not function. Special mentions to Ross, Jay, David, Gavin, Chris & Woofy who gave up so much of their spare time. Finally, thanks to race director Kathryn Beades for her tenacity and hardwork in getting this historic race up and running again.

Prizes

The sense of achievement of completing such a beautiful race will be enough for most. HOWEVER! All finishers will receive a commemorative medal which you can display proudly upon your chest and get nods of approval from strangers on the street who will know how hard won it was. If that's not enough, there will be some category prizes too....
